First KISS version 6 Installation, Vanuatu

International Casino Services (ICS) have completed the first installation of KISS Casino Management System version 6, at the Palms Casino in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu.

The Palms Casino is located at the recently renovated Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu in Port Vila. Vanuatu’s first and oldest casino was moved to the new setting in 2010 and is nestled in the leafy landscape of the sprawling resort property. The new casino structure features a modern 7-metre tall interior utilising local timbers, colours and woven mat materials, highlighting the Vanuatu flavour.

“With more than 50 Ni-Vanuatu staff at the Palms Casino, we were asked if we could develop a Bislama version of the casino management system. Working together with local management, we produced a world first – a Bislama language (Pidgin English) casino management system!” said Laurence Hawke, ICS Managing Director.

Mark Trezise, Casino Manager at the Palms Casino said, “KISS meets our key system requirements of revenue reporting, control of chip movement and chip inventory, audit trail, player rating and complimentary program management. The dual language option was a welcomed bonus. Importantly, the installation and training was completed without fuss or interruption to the business and for only a low cost outlay.”
