Cambodia’s Royal Group completes KISS Casino Management System installation

Jan 14, 2009

International Casino Services (ICS) have completed a comprehensive installation of the KISS Casino Information Software System for Cambodia’s Royal Group in Bavet.

The newest and largest casino to open on the Cambodia-Vietnam border town of Bavet drew large crowds to it’s soft opening late in November 2008. With 88 tables spread over a 3000 sqm main gaming floor, a high stakes VIP room and 6 private junket rooms, the property is unlike any other on the Cambodian border. Caesar is the 8th casino to be opened at the growing border town.

The resort and casino complex is owned by the Royal Group; the most dynamic investment and development group in Cambodia, with strategic interests in hospitality, telecommunications, media, banking and property. Their portfolio includes; CTN, Cambodia’s top rated TV station, the ANZ Royal Bank, KFC & Pizza Hut and MobiTel, the country’s preferred mobile phone service provider.

“I was impressed by ICS’s experience in the region and the fact that many of our management were already familiar with the KISS system. The software installation, training and support during our opening period were second to none.”, said Thomas Kam, Casino General Manager, Caesar International Hotel & Resort.
ICS Managing Director, Laurence Hawke explained, “The KISS Casino Management Software System is the ideal product for casinos in the Asia-Pacific region. It provides owners and operators with a sense of security over the revenues, while providing an easy to use application for all levels of casino management and staff. The ability to manage multiple currencies and chip types, junkets and numerous chip banks was key to our inclusion in this project.
